The journey I had embarked on is very special, unique and personal to me. However, some incidents I have encountered in this journey (mentioned in my book) may resonate well with many of you. In retrospect, I can definitely say that I am God’s child. At a very young age, I was blessed with the ability to connect to my inner self and to Lord Shiva (my protector and benevolent). Having suffered through surgeries, illness, childhood traumas and abuse, I realized how I could navigate through all my emotions with help of my soul strength (that was connected to the universal soul) coupled with my knowledge about foods, my education and my instincts. The summation of these facets rescued me from a host of disasters.
Over the years, my pains and bottled-up emotions instilled in me the skills to pay heed to my brilliant inner guide. It led me back to nature (Shakti) and my kitchen (my home pharmacy) as well as connecting me more deeply with the people and animals (my pet mojo) who set my heart ablaze and made me a better person.
Over the years, I learned that a nutrient-dense, plant-passionate diet rules; the modern diet destroys everything; stress kills your life force; exercise is non-negotiable (it’s great for your head, heart, cells and emotions); creating moments of joy each day is vital for survival ; and having fun must be taken very seriously. We are here to learn and love !!
Based on my experience and learnings. I help my patients/clients lead a joyful version of their life, no matter what their conditions are.
You can always take control of your life and your journey; every step counts. According to my observation of many chronic conditions and critical patients, when they are supported well by positive emotions and right guidance, they are able to overcome their challenges and reach their goals with confidence.
